Carimin net profit soars in second quarter

PETALING JAYA: Carimin Petroleum Bhd’s net profit grew 53% to RM8.05mil for the second quarter ended Dec 31,2019 from RM5.26mil in the corresponding quarter last year on higher offshore activities and utilisation of marine vessels.

During the quarter in review, the technical and engineering support provider for the oil and gas industry saw its revenue increase 11.3% to RM107.13mil from RM96.26mil in the previous corresponding quarter, and its earnings per share (EPS) rose to 3.44 sen from 2.25 sen.
