Solarvest: Price rise due to sharing session

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, after the stock market operator issued an unusual market activity query to the company earlier yesterday, Solarvest said it was not aware of any other possible explanation to account for the trading activity.

KUALA LUMPUR: Solarvest Holdings Bhd has attributed the sharp rise in its share price recently to a sharing session conducted by group chief executive officer Chong Chun Shiong on Bursa Marketplace on Feb 6.

Yesterday, Solarvest’s shares leaped as much as 21 sen to RM1.24 before settling seven sen higher at RM1.10 at closing.
