KUALA LUMPUR: Axiata Group Bhd’s 63 per cent-owned unit, edotco Group Sdn Bhd, has completed the acquisition of an 80 per cent stake in Tanjung Digital Sdn Bhd (TDSB).

Following this, TDSB will become a subsidiary of Axiata.

Earlier, edotco announced that the acquisition will be done via its wholly-owned unit, edotco Malaysia Sdn Bhd, which inked the sale and purchase of shares agreement in May this year to acquire the stake in TDSB.

TDSB had previously obtained the right to build telecommunication infrastructure in Kedah for RM140 million. - Bernama
