Rizal takes on CEO post at Alliance Islamic Bank

KUALA LUMPUR: Alliance Islamic Bank Bhd (AIS) has promoted Rizal Il-Ehzan Fadil Azim (pic) to chief executive officer effective immediately. 
 
AIS, which is Alliance Bank’s end-to-end Islamic products and banking specialist, said in a statement that he took over the helm from Fozia Amanulla, who has been made Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd’s chief business development officer.

Rizal has over 22 years of experience in business advisory, banking and finance, including in Islamic banking. He joined AIS in November 2012 as senior vice president (strategy and business performance) and was appointed as its deputy CEO last year.
