IJM bags RM484mil deal for Almas construction works in Puteri Harbour


KUALA LUMPUR; IJM Corp Bhd has bagged a RM484.2mil contract from UEM Land Bhd for main building works for the proposed mixed development known as Almas in Puteri Harbour, Johor Baru.

The construction firm told Bursa Malaysia that its unit, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, had on Thursday accepted the letter of award for the phase 1A and 1B works for the development.

Phase 1A, to be completed within 34 months for RM240.35mil, comprises a 34-storey tower consisting of executive suites (Block C), two levels of basement car park, five levels of elevated car park, and a level of recreational facilities.

Phase 1B, to span 25 months at a contract value of RM243.85mil, includes two blocks of office tower (Blocks A and B) and five levels of elevated car park.

IJM Corp shares closed unchanged at RM3.36 on Thursday with 1.669 million shares traded.
