Myanmar: Covid-19 cases surging but country still attracts over US$5.5bil of foreign investment

YANGON, Oct 10 (Xinhua): Myanmar attracted foreign investment worth over US$5.52 billion in previous fiscal year (FY) 2019-2020 which ended on Sept 30, according to figures released by the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) on Saturday.

From Oct 1, 2019 to Sept 30 this year, the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) approved 245 foreign investment enterprises.
