PETALING JAYA: It’s a perfect 10 indeed for world No. 1 Nicol David at the Hong Kong Open.

On Sunday, on Merdeka Day, the 31-year-old Nicol demonstrated great resilience to extend her unbeaten run in Hong Kong to 50 matches – dating back to the 2005 Women’s World Open – as she survived a fierce onslaught by Egypt’s Nour El Tayeb in the women’s final.
