Champions Malaysia knocked out of Asean U-16 football meet

PETALING JAYA: Defending champions Malaysia were embarrassingly shown the exit in the group stage at the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-16 Championship.

Malaysia went down 2-0 to Laos in their final Group A match at the Army Stadium in Phnom Penh on Tuesday to finish third on six points.
