Cook pleads not guilty over murder of UITM student

TAIPING: A cook has pleaded not guilty at a High Court here on a charge of murdering a female student by slashing her throat at the 228th kilometre of the North-South Expressway south bound near Bukit Gantang on Feb 2.

Syarafi Abu (pic), 25, was accused of murdering Nursyuhada Johari, 20, a student of Universiti Teknologi Mara, who succumbed to her injuries at Kuala Kangsar Hospital at 11.55pm that same day.
