Najib: Special Economic Committee to be set up


KUALA LUMPUR: A Special Economic Committee to be set up to ensure the nation’s economic prosperity, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

"The objective of this committee is to ensure growth and momentum will continue and generate prosperity in this challenging times," Najib said this at the National Tax Conference 2015 here at the KLCC Convention on Tuesday.

He said that he had been having regular meetings with both local and foreign economic experts to discuss the current situation.

He said details of the committee will be announced later.
