Honda making cautionary replacements of parts for certain car models


PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia will recall almost 144,000 vehicles to replace faulty driver and passenger airbag inflators.

The company said in a statement that the move was a precautionary exercise for its City (2006 to 2012), Civic (2006 to 2011), Civic Hybrid (2007 to 2011), CR-V (2007 to 2011), Insight (2011 to 2012), Jazz (2009 to 2012) and Stream (2007 to 2012) models. In May, a total of 87,182 units were recalled for a precautionary update.
