KUALA LUMPUR: Crime in the nation’s capital has fallen 27% so far this year, with police highlighting a decrease in snatch theft cases.
This comes after the KL police contingent introduced an armed plainclothes police patrol unit with the General Operations Force (GOF) in six districts with the sole purpose of combatting snatch thefts.
