AirAsia QZ8501: Search will continue despite armed forces withdrawal, says Basarnas

JAKARTA: The Search and Rescue operation for the 92 remaining victims of Indonesia Airasia flight QZ8501 will continue despite not involving other parties such as the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).

Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) head, F. H. Bambang Soelistyo (pic) said the withdrawal of TNI was not related to the ceasing of the operation as reported in the media.
