Man burnt to death in fiery car crash along Jalan Loke Yew


The burnt and wrecked Toyota Vios along Jalan Loke Yew.

KUALA LUMPUR: A man was burnt to death after his Toyota Vios crashed into a road divider along Jalan Loke Yew here.

In Tuesday's incident, city Fire and Rescue department assistant director (operations) Azizan Ismail said the car erupted into flames after ramming the divider at about 7.46am.

Firemen recovered the burnt body after the fire was put out. 

Seven firemen arrived at the scene at about 7.53am.

"The man, in his 30s, was trapped in the vehicle and died on the spot," he added.

His body was sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a post-mortem.
