Transgenders are of unsound mind, says Negri Sembilan state legal advisor


PUTRAJAYA: Individuals who are identified as the opposite gender, due to Gender Identity Disorder (GID) are of unsound mind, the Court of Appeal here heard.

The Court of Appeal on Thursday heard the appeal of three transgenders who sought to have Section 66 of the Syariah Criminal (Negri Sembilan) Enactment 1992 be declared unconstitutional.
