Thieves grab RM160,000 while guard goes for prayers


BESUT: Four men carted away one of four automated teller machines (ATM) from a bank and escaped with RM160,000 early Sunday, taking advantage of the absence of the security guard on duty, who was praying at a nearby surau at the time.

The break-in at the Bank Rakyat branch in Jerteh, which occured at 5.45am, was over in less than five minutes.
