GEORGE TOWN: A passing motorcyclist stopped to carry to safety a man pinned under a car wreck only to discover it was his own son.

His distraught father, who declined to be named, said he was riding past the area after the accident and saw the man pinned under the wreckage.
"I decided to go and help but then realised that it was my son," he said.
Desmond Lau, who is a vegetable seller, was on his way to the market in Lip Sin when he is believed to have collided with a bus whose driver drove off after the accident
