JAKARTA: A Malaysian policeman was sentenced by the Medan District Court to four years jail on Wednesday, for smuggling 0.5 grammes of crystal methamphetamine via the Polonia International Airport in Medan, North Sumatra last May.
According to the Jakarta Post English daily on Thursday, Lance Corporal Salim Muhammad Yusof, 49, was also ordered to pay Rp 800 million (RM224,000) in default three months imprisonment.
