Marked improvement in income levels of the extremely poor

PETALING JAYA: Almost all the 44,643 families categorised as “extreme poor” have raised their income levels and are no longer in that bracket.

This is one of the key achievements of the Raising Living Standards of Low Income Households NKRA in GTP 1.0 reducing the number of extreme poor and poor households.
