KUALA LUMPUR: A former police officer has been arrested as he was about to celebrate his birthday with his friends who staged the kidnapping of a businessman.
Sources said the man was among six people detained at about 10am Saturday in Rawang and Kajang hours after they had collected a RM300,000 ransom from the businessman's family.
