Students now confident of speaking English


THE British Council’s English Language Teacher Development Project (ELTDP) has been successful in raising the confidence of Malaysian schoolchildren in using the English language in daily life.

The United Kingdom’s (UK) Senior Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Baroness Sayeeda Hussain Warsi said the programme had been extended by another three years, adding that she hoped for a longer partnership between both countries in producing fluent English speakers among Malaysians.
