THE Sabah Education Department has set up two special needs schools and introduced special needs education integration programmes in 70 primary and 52 secondary schools.

State education department director Datuk Jame Alip said the programmes catered to the needs of children with disabilities, particularly those who were visually impaired and hearing impaired.
