AN air of vibrancy filled Butterworth old town in mainland Penang as it basked under the international spotlight during the inaugural Butterworth Fringe Festival (BFF).
The weekend showcase — a satellite event of the island-based George Town Festival (GTF) — had a fair bit of activity to celebrate local and foreign culture, arts, heritage and communities.
