Health kick: Research shows that 75 million US consumers will be using devices to keep tabs on their health within the next five years.

New data from Juniper Research suggests that as traditional activity trackers move their focus from straightforward fitness and towards healthcare, their sales are set to double.

The research firm forecasts that this changing focus, plus devices' expanding capabilities will lead to 75 million US consumers using them to keep tabs on their health within the next five years.
