UCF 'human surrogate' research seeks more interactive robots

ORLANDO: If a robot tried to talk to you at the shopping mall, how would you react? 

University of Central Florida professor Greg Welch hopes you would talk with it just as you would a human being. The goal is to improve his scientific research and eventually provide better training for doctors and soldiers.
