LONDON (Reuters) - Former England coach Roy Hodgson was named as Crystal Palace's new manager on Tuesday, a day after the Premier League club sacked Dutchman Frank de Boer following four league defeats.

Hodgson, 70, becomes the second-oldest active manager in the top four divisions of English football.
