Stoke's Shawcross misses Man United clash with back injury

(Reuters) - Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross will miss Saturday's home match against Premier League leaders Manchester United with a back injury, manager Mark Hughes has said.

The centre back, who signed a new four-year deal last week after being plagued by a back injury for a large portion of last season, hurt his back in training.
