(Reuters) - Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld insists his run to the Champions League final with Atletico Madrid two years ago proves that underdogs can compete with Europe's elite and win the competition.
The 27-year-old Belgian, who joined the Premier League club from Atletico in July last year, was on the losing side in the 2014 Champions League final when Atletico took on Real Madrid.
