PETALING JAYA: National football coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee reckons that the friendly against bitter rivals Indonesia will be the perfect “rite of passage” for his players.

Harimau Malaysia’s wins over Indonesia – in the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup and 2009 SEA Games final – still remain a sore point for the Garuda, but Kim Swee believes the “friendly” will galvanise his players for this year’s Suzuki Cup.
