BASEL (Reuters) - Gokhan Inler, a stalwart of the Swiss midfield for the past decade, is set to miss Euro 2016 after being left out of the provisional squad named by coach Vladimir Petkovic on Wednesday.
Petkovic said he had no option but to drop Inler due to the 31-year-old's lack of match practice with Leicester City this season, though he said it had been a difficult decision.
