Jun Hoong and Pandelela reach semis at world aquatics meet


PETALING JAYA: Cheong Jun Hoong can give herself a pat on the back after finishing above Malaysian teammate Pandelela Rinong as both reached the semi-finals of the women’s 10m platform at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Jun Hoong, who has not competed in the 10m platform individual for some time, amassed 316.70 points to finish ninth in a field of 37 divers yesterday.
