KUALA LUMPUR: Shuttlers Yap Roy King and Ooi Jhy Dar are hoping that their sacrifice to skip the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations next month will be rewarded with a good result at the World Junior Championships in Markham, Canada.
The junior meet is from Nov 5-18 while the first paper for SPM (Bahasa Malaysia) will begin on Nov 13.
