KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 7 Lee Chong Wei (pic) staged a remarkable comeback to keep his unbeaten record intact against Taiwan's Chou Tien-chen to reach the Japan Open semi-finals.

Chong Wei defeated the 27-year-old Tien-chen 21-11, 15-21, 21-19 in the men's singles quarter-finals in Tokyo yesterday – but it was one of the Malaysian's toughest matches in their seven meetings.
