Shuttlers deserve the praise

Not a bad outing: The national women’s badminton squad celebrating their silver medal after the prize-giving ceremony at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil on Thursday. Malaysia lost 3-1 to Thailand in the team final.

But the National Sports Council (NSC) director-general applauded the men and women shuttlers for their fighting displays that saw them finishing as runners-up to Indonesia and Thailand in the team finals on Thursday.
