Allow the viewers to decide

I CONGRATULATE Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz for sticking his neck out to blast at the Malaysian Film Censorship Board, saying enough is enough over the censorship of the Disney movie Beauty and The Beast.

The board explained that it was only a minor cut to take out the “gay moment”, which presumably is unsuitable for local viewing as lesbianism is taboo in Malaysia. But the public is disgusted at the holier-than-thou attitude of the board, as can be seen from the comments on social media.
