Paying the ultimate price for society’s foibles

I REFER to the letter “Gun culture a blot on American society” (The Star, June 20) by Tan Sri Mohd Sheriff Mohd Kassim.

The writer is unaware of many basic tenets of American society especially the Second Amendment and gun control. It’s like the loaded warning: “Taste, but don’t swallow”
