Charge third-party agents

I REFER to your report, “Ong: Weed out agents from foreign labour applications” (The Star, Feb 22), and cannot agree more with the Minister as he has hit the nail on the head. He was spot on about the entire foreign workers episode.

The International Trade and Industry Minister II Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan had rightly pointed out that the root cause for having two million illegal foreigners on our shores was largely because of the unethical conduct of the so-called third-party agents.
