IN November 2007, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) established Feb 20 as the annual World Day of Social Justice, and it has been commemorated since 2009.
The resolution recognised the need to further consolidate efforts, within and among nations, in poverty eradication and in promoting full employment and decent work, gender equality and access to social well-being and justice for all.
