Athletes, give back to the game you love

IT was a real shock to learn of the demise of Jonah Lomu, one of the world’s greatest rugby players from New Zealand. He was a ­generous man who was always ready to help others.

Among our Malaysian athletes, there are some who are earning quite well. Please give a thought to the upcoming stars who may need help to reach the higher level. Do not forget you are earning well because of the fans. Great sportsmen like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Tiger Woods (just to name a few) have contributed to the development of the game they play by setting up foundations for education and training.
