Putin says diplomats to mull multinational peacekeepers for east Ukraine

SOCHI, Russia (Reuters) - Russia's President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that German and Russian diplomats would look again at options for using a multinational peacekeeping contingent in Eastern Ukraine.

Putin also said he had had useful discussions with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
