Shallow earthquake shakes Costa Rican capital San Jose

SAN JOSE (Reuters) - A minor, shallow earthquake shook buildings in the Costa Rican capital of San Jose on Friday, though there were no immediate reports of damage.

The quake registered 3.7 magnitude, was only 6 kilometres (4 miles) deep and struck just to the north of San Jose, Costa Rica's national seismological network said.
