Jakarta (AFP) - Indonesian trade minister Gita Wirjawan said Friday that he had resigned from his post to focus on a presidential bid in the country's upcoming election.
"I resigned from my post as a trade minister effective on February 1st," he told reporters, adding that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had accepted his decision.
