PETALING JAYA: The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) has renewed its push for the Government to provide alternatives to detention (ATD) for children in immigration detention centres.
Suhakam chairman Tan Sri Othman Hashim said it has been reiterating its position about having a separate centre for unaccompanied or separated children instead of immigration detention centres.
