Witness: RM2mil cheque deposited into company linked to Ku Nan

KUALA LUMPUR: The prosecution will prove that Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor received RM2mil from Aset Kayamas Sdn Bhd chairman Tan Sri Chai Kin Kong.

They intend to also prove that he did this with the knowledge that the company's activities were linked to his post as the then Federal Territories minister, says deputy public prosecutor Julia Ibrahim in her opening statement at Tengku Adnan's bribery trial on Tuesday (July 2).
