Credit for increase in 2018 tax collection goes to BN and not Pakatan, claims Wee

PETALING JAYA: The increase in the amount of tax collected in 2018 is not because of any Pakatan Harapan strategy, says MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic).

"Many know that the tax payable this year is from last year's income. Therefore, most taxes paid in 2018 are from the overall investment environment and business performances in 2017," he said in a statement on Sunday (Jan 20).
