Malaysians among eight held over drug smuggling in Australia


PETALING JAYA: Two Malaysians were among eight people arrested in connection with a syndicate involving Malindo Air’s cabin crew member smuggling drugs into Australia.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department director Comm Datuk Seri Mohmad Salleh said the duo – a woman in her 30s and a man in his 40s – were arrested by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) along with six other people of various nationalities.
