Sarawak yet to receive its share of tourism tax


KUCHING: Sarawak has yet to receive its share of the tourism tax collected in the state since September last year, says state Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

He said the Federal Government informed his office earlier this year about the disbursement of Sarawak's share of the tax collected from September to December last year, which amounted to RM439,731.
