GEORGE TOWN: A furniture factory at Jalan Kampung Pisang in Ayer Itam on Penang island is on fire.

Paya Terubong Fire and Rescue Department said the fire started at about 9.15pm on Saturday night (Oct 27).

So far the Fire Department (Bomba) is still battling the blaze at the site. 

No casualties have been reported as yet. 

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
