Shafie: Sabah to be stern on security after two suspected kidnappers killed near Kunak

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah state government has taken a firm, "no-nonsense" stance against all elements that pose a threat to national security and will employ necessary measures to protect the country's borders.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic) said this in connection with the gunning down of two suspected kidnappers on an island near Kunak at around 11pm Thursday (Sept 20).
