Bersatu loses petition, Umno keeps Tasik Gelugor seat

GEORGE TOWN: The High Court here has dismissed the election petition filed by Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Marzuki Yahya to challenge the results for the Tasik Gelugor parliamentary seat.

Justice Hashim Hamzah, who sat as the Election Court judge, dismissed the case based on the preliminary objection raised by incumbent Datuk Shabudin Yahaya of Barisan Nasional, the first respondent.
